Harold Solbrig has over 40 years experience in software engineering, clinical modeling, terminology management and biomedical informatics. He is the editor of the Object Management Group (OMG) Lexicon Query Services (LQS), the Common Terminology Services 2 (CTS2) and Archetype Modeling Language (AML) specifications and the HL7 Common Terminology Services (CTS) specification. He has participated in HL7 V3 and FHIR specifications, the ISO/IEC 11179 metadata standards and the WHO ICD-11 release. Harold is a member of the SNOMED CT Modeling Advisory Group and is the Mayo AC representative to the W3C. His current interests include FHIR RDF, the RDF Shape Expressions (ShEx) specification, SNOMED CT modeling and distribution and the use of FHIR in i2b2. Harold holds a masters degree in software engineering from Oxford University.
